The demi tip technique requires a structural overlay: gel, acrygel, resin, or rubber base on very short nails. Thanks to their pronounced C-curve, they are perfectly suited for natural nails with a normal to high curvature. Versatile for various lengths, these tips are ideal for creating coffin, short square, and tapered square sets. We recommend against using the Universal Base for applying demi tips. Demi Tip Application
-Clean the natural nail with Cleaner, remove cuticles with Cuticle Scissors, and buff the nail plate.
-Apply Nail Fresh to dehydrate the nail.
-Select the tip that best fits the natural nail, ensuring the sidewalls are fully covered.
-Apply Tip Fixing Gel to the well area. You can also use Tip Glue or Glue Gel Tips, depending on your preference.
-Fix the tip using a lever motion.
-Maintain pressure while the glue dries or the gel cures under the Mini Lamp, then under a main UV/LED lamp.
-Shape the tip to the desired form and length, refining the contact zone.
-Apply a base gel and follow the standard protocol for gel, acrygel, or resin.
